New Guides (see the latest on the national page) have come out in Charlottesville, Aspen, Memphis and Baltimore but we are still enjoying our first volume, Scout Guide Sarasota here in Sarasota!
James and Christine Griffith, established their salon in 1988 and now have 3 locations in Sarasota, Venice and Boca Grande. Their tag line is "So...who cuts your hair?" Well, Michelle personally cuts mine and she's wonderful. The salon is a pleasure to be in and I enjoy the new friendship I have with Christine and James...as you can tell by this portrait, they are two very lovely, personable people!
Susan Hritz of SHS Design has been a client of mine for years (both for portrait work and for her interiors) so it's wonderful to have her featured in the Scout Guide, hanging out on her front steps with her pup! Personable and talented, I find her inspiring - she has many great ideas and operates smoothly and efficiently at the same time!
St. Armands was the perfect setting for Emily Stoud's portrait, featuring HaydenReis. Living in sunny Sarasota and with our beautiful beaches, everyone needs her bags for work and play! USA made with the finest sailcloth available, there are designs for every possible need and bountiful patterns to choose from!
Nicky and Jenna, owners of Marmalade Salon&Boutique have created what they describe as a "sweet blend of everything they love! A comfortable spot where beauty and fashion mix with laughter, inspiration and imagination... offering beachy home decor, free spirited apparel and bohemain bling, while taming tresses to fit the lifestyles of all!"
Dr. Lou Cohen and Dr. Brad Lerner of Lerner Cohen Concierge Healthcare along with Dr. Lerner's wife Melissa, who is the office manager, have a thriving practice catering personally to the needs of their patients. They are proud to be offering quality concierge services that mean you and your health care needs are understood and met, day or night, by the doctors you know and trust.
How lucky were we to have our very own sandcastle built to feature us!! Mark Mason of TeamSandtastic offers incredibe sand sculptures of anything you could possbily imagine, for any event, whether it's corporate or personal. It's worth spending time on his website reading about him and his team of sculpters, how detailed and involved their process is and how professional they are in their execution! Based here in Sarasota, they do 50-60 sculptures a year, all over the world.
