Boudoir Photography

Boudoir photography is special because it gives an expert photographer the opportunity to create very personal, feminine, soft images that also are sexy and playful. With the focus on a woman's face, skin, hair, highlighting the best features of her body, the essence of her femininity is captured while still being tasteful. This style of photography is distinguished from other genres like "glamour" photography, "fine-art" nude photography and "erotic" photography because nudity is more often implied than explicit.

The opportunities of shooting on location, working within different interiors, using natural light help to personalize the images. Shooting at a window or doorway, in a chair in pretty lingerie or in bed with draping sheets and soft natural light playing on the curves of a woman's body help to define the "Boudoir" style.
